The card is issued with its own code and its balance is held against that code — not against a person — so whoever holds it can use it.
Gift cards are sold in Canadian dollars. HST is charged on the treatment when the card is redeemed, not on the card itself, so the full face value goes towards what they book.
Four steps, one of which is a person doing something by hand — which is why a card bought on a Tuesday afternoon is usually in an inbox before the clinic closes.
Send the request above, or call the clinic. Reception replies with the total and takes payment by card. We do not hold card details, and the payment is receipted to you the same way any treatment would be.
The card is issued with a unique code and its own balance, and it is emailed as a PDF or printed on card for collection. The expiry date is on the card itself — never buried in a policy page they would have to find.
They book like anyone else, online or by phone, and mention the card when they arrive. A first injectable or laser appointment still begins with an assessment: a gift card buys treatment where treatment is appropriate, and never shortens the conversation that decides whether it is.
At checkout the code is applied against the invoice and the balance drops by exactly what the visit cost. Spend less than the card is worth and the remainder stays on it for next time; spend more and they pay the difference. There is no minimum spend and no “use it all in one go”.

Reception can read a card’s remaining balance at the desk or over the phone in a few seconds, and the balance also appears against your file in the client portal once a card has been applied to one of your invoices.
We deliberately do not publish a balance-lookup form on this site. A gift-card code is a bearer instrument: anyone holding it can spend it, so an open form that answers “what is this code worth” is a financial endpoint on the public web. If that changes it will be because we have put a proper rate limit and a review behind it, not because it was convenient.
Everything that governs a card, in the six places it matters. Ontario law sets most of it, and where the law is silent we have written down the answer we would give you at the desk anyway.
If you are not sure what they would want, the amount is the safer gift: it lets them be assessed properly and decide with a practitioner rather than committing to a treatment somebody else picked.
