How it works

The mechanism, plainly.

A small volume of your blood is spun in a closed centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich fraction, which is then re-introduced into the skin or scalp. Platelets carry the growth factors the body uses for repair; concentrating them puts that signal where you want it.

Because the material is yours, allergy is not a consideration. Response varies more than with most treatments — it depends on your own biology — so we photograph carefully and review honestly at three months rather than assuming a course.

A full medical history, a look at the face at rest and in animation, and standardised photographs from fixed positions. This is where most of the appointment's value is.
Mapping and consent
5 min
We mark the points, agree the product and the dose out loud, and you sign the consent for that specific plan. Nothing is prepared until you have said yes to a number.

Narges
Founder & Medical Director
Narges founded Rose Beauty Clinic in 2019 after a decade in medical aesthetics, with the intention of building somewhere that treated conservatively and said no often enough to be trusted. She takes every new-patient consultation herself. Her practice is built around facial assessment first and product second: understanding which layer has changed before deciding what, if anything, should be added to it. She has a particular interest in biostimulators and in correcting overfilled faces, which is a slower and less glamorous kind of work than most of what the industry advertises. Narges oversees the clinic's medical protocols, its complication pathway and its laser safety programme, and she is the person on the after-hours number.

Treatment

10–20 min

The injections themselves. Topical anaesthetic where the area warrants it; most people describe it as a series of quick, sharp pinches rather than pain.

Immediately after

5 min

Pressure, ice, and a short list of things to avoid for the rest of the day: no lying flat, no exercise, no facials, no heat. We hand you the same list in writing.

Two-week review

15 min

Included, never charged separately. We compare against your day-one photographs and add a small amount if the result is asymmetric or under-treated. Adding at review costs nothing; starting heavy costs a season.

Care

Before, and afterwards.

Given to you in writing on the day as well. Aftercare instructions are never hidden behind a tooltip or a truncation.

Before your visit

Arrive with clean skin. Avoid blood thinners, alcohol and intense sun for 24–48h before treatment where applicable.

Aftercare

Avoid touching the area for 6 hours, no strenuous exercise for 24h, use SPF 50 daily. Contact us with any concerns.

Downtime: Redness for around twenty-four hours, and a small bruise where blood was drawn.

Safety

Tell us if any of this applies.

None of these is automatically a no. Several simply change the plan, the product or the timing — but we need to know before, not after.

You are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.
There is an active skin infection, cold sore or open wound at the treatment site.
You have had surgery, a vaccination or dental work in the area within the last two weeks.
You have a neuromuscular condition such as myasthenia gravis.
You take an anticoagulant, or you bruise unusually easily.
You have had permanent or semi-permanent filler placed anywhere, at any time.
You have a known allergy to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine or human albumin.

Every treatment here is performed after a medical history review and, where the treatment requires one, a signed consent specific to that plan. Products are Health Canada authorised and tracked from supplier lot to your individual record.

Clinic Manager & Aesthetician

Maryam is our clinic manager and senior medical aesthetician, and she is the person most of our clients see most often. Her focus is skin health over time rather than single appointments: building a routine someone will actually follow, sequencing in-clinic work around it, and being straightforward about the twelve weeks it takes before any of it can be judged. She runs our microneedling and medical facial programmes and looks after clients managing melasma, where patience matters more than intensity. She is also the person who will tell you, kindly, that your barrier is compromised and the answer this fortnight is to do less.
